Jeff has been making homes safe, durable and efficient since 2006. He started in the industry managing contractors in a NY efficiency program and providing Quality Assurance visits. In 2010, with a desire to make a larger impact in more homes, he started Wise Home Energy. Jeff is a subject matter expert in efficiency and spreads his knowledge through his radio show, presenting at industry conferences, and hands on training with the Wise Team. He believes all homes can be efficient, comfortable, and safe when properly tested and treated with building science principles.

Ryan joined Wise in 2012 after an internship as a solar designer and earning a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management, Environmental Science, and Sustainable Building Design. Starting as an entry level insulation technician, he learned firsthand the dynamics of buildings. Ryan quickly earned a Building Analyst certification and started conducting Energy Assessments, managing hundreds of comprehensive retrofit projects. Ryan has been a valued asset for Wise Home Energy’s growth and direction. He is committed to applying building science to improve the lives of our clients, our community and for future generations. Ryan also serves on the BPCA-NY Board, is a founding member of RocBS and consults with many local organizations.

Operations Manager

Eric joined the Wise Home Energy team in 2023 assisting with warehouse operations and inventory management, and is now in the role of Operation Manager. Eric is an accomplished and driven professional with experience across multiple industries, including supply chain, facilities maintenance, emergency mitigation, as well as residential and commercial construction. He has a talent for understanding current and future customer needs, while implementing key strategies to control costs and improve quality and safety. He is also known for being able to step into opportunities, find what is not working, and introduce more effective strategies and workflows. In his free time, he is currently conducting a major home renovation where prioritizing building science is proving the home performance and energy efficiency results.

Kirk joined the Wise team in 2018 with 9 years’ experience in the weatherization field that included 3 years of home energy auditing. Kirk says he loves going into people’s homes to offer quality advice on home energy upgrades, treating your home as if they were his. If you have animals, Kirk will likely hang around longer! In his spare time, he enjoys the great outdoors and camping.

Magic Mike joined Wise in 2011 after years working at AC-Delco in quality control. Mike is also a licensed Home Inspector. His attention to detail and caring for his clients lets mike excel working with his clients and NYSERDA’s Empower plus program. When Mike is not improving his clients’ homes, you can find him on the golf course, or jet-setting to warmer weather.

He finds the opportunity to improve the homes in the community he raised a family in most rewarding. Bob has been with Wise for over 4 years working with the Project Managers, customers, and NYS to maximize the benefits from available programs. Bob is an energy modeling wizard!

Christina join the WHE team in March 2022. She came to WHE with administrative know-how & 30 years of customer service. Since joining the WHE team, Christina has taken opportunities to learn the industry & continues to grow her knowledge in the fields of HVAC and insulation. Outside of WHE, Christina spends time on personal home projects, spends time with her daughter, her dog, and explores a variety of hobbies.

Tom joined Wise in 2017 with 35 plus years in the HVACR industry. A master of his craft, both at work installing and tuning high efficiency heating and cooling systems, and at home making some of the best brisket east of the Mississippi. Tom has been leading our Heating and Cooling Department and loves educating his team about new technologies and best practices. Hit attention to detail and can-do attitude allows Wise to come up with some unique custom designs, especially with our building electrification projects.

Jamie joined Wise Home Energy in 2013. He finds helping people improve their living environments to be incredibly rewarding. Jamie loves the details of homes, especially older ones. He enjoys being on new sites, meeting new customers, and especially interacting with their dogs. Working with his team in the field is the best part of the job. Leading them and fostering leadership and self-sufficiency both at work and in life is a top focus for Jamie. Jamie said “the past decade at Wise has flown by, and Mondays have always been his favorite day.” Jamie take’s great pride in his work and in maintaining high standards for his team and the company.

Rick joined Wise Home Energy in 2023 as an insulator tech with no experience and a background in culinary arts and has now found his way as our resident jack of all trades. Rick’s ability to quickly learn the inner workings of anything is a tremendous asset to machine/equipment and fleet management. Rick is motivated to consistently keep learning and improving his skill sets and knowledge base. He looks forward to continuing his education in all aspects of home energy performance.
