Wise Home Energy is proud to partner with a number of organizations and programs to be able to offer our clients grants and incentives to reduce total project costs. From income eligible grant programs, to next generation clean heating subsidies, to utility rebates and tax credits, Wise will help you maximize your project savings. Cold Climate Heat Pump Program

NYS Clean Heat –

The NYS Clean Heat program provides grants for ultra efficient cold climate air source heat pump systems. This next generation heating and cooling technology will help you lower your energy costs and reduce your greenhouse gas emissions. Grants are available for single systems or whole house solutions for year round occupied new or existing buildings.

NYSERDA Energy Efficiency and Clean Heating Incetives

Comfort Home Program –

Do you want your family to be more comfortable in your home, lower your energy bills, and get on the path to a clean energy future? Wise Home Energy is a participating contractor in this program designed to create a comfortable and sustainable home. Subsidies from $500 – $6,000 depending on improvement package. Currently available in Monroe county only.

Home Energy Ratings Pilot Program

Pearl Certification –

This nationally recognized certification will give your home a score based on its current energy performance—how well it’s insulated, the effectiveness of the heating and cooling systems, appliance characteristics, and much more. You’ll also receive a Home Investment Plan with detailed recommendations on how to increase the comfort, value and efficiency of your home. Currently available for no cost for single family homes in Monroe county. Valued at $500.

NYSERDA Income Eligible Programs

Assisted Home Performance –

The Assisted Home Performance Program provides those who qualify with a discount covering 50% of the cost of eligible energy efficiency improvements up to $4,000 per project for single-family homes. Two- to four-unit residential homes with income-eligible residents may qualify for a discount of up to $8,000.

Empower NY –

EmPower New York provides no-cost energy efficiency solutions to income-eligible New Yorkers. Available for home owners and renters, the Empower NY program has helped over 135,000 of your neighbors save energy and money while making their homes healthier and safer.

Energy Utility Rebates

NYS energy utilities offer their customers a variety of high efficiency equipment rebates. From WiFi thermostat to high efficiency furnaces, Wise Home Energy will help you apply for utility rebate.

Tax Credits

Energy Equipment and Efficiency Improvement

Tax credits have been extended thru 12.31.2020 for high performance heating and cooling systems as well as energy efficiency improvements like insulation and windows. To be eligible, these improvement must be made at your principle residence.

Local Home Improvement Programs

The Housing Council at Pathstone

Income based programs for home repairs and energy improvements for the Greater Rochester area. Lead remediation grants, insulation improvements, health and safety repairs, roof replacements and a variety of other improvements are potentially available thru these programs. Programs and grants are subject to change, and fundability varies. Please call each resource and check with each individual provider.

Utility Bill Payment Payment Programs

Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) –

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federal grant program that assists income eligible households in paying for energy costs, repairs and weatherization.
