Cold Drafts and Old Oil Furnace – 1984 Mobile Home
The home is a 980 square foot Mobile Home built in 1984. The customer’s initial concerns were that the home had cold drafts and an old oil furnace.

Wise Home Energy performed an initial Blower Door Test which showed an airflow of 3599 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) of air moving past the blower door.
To correct the homeowner concerns, Wise Home Energy performed the following services:
- Spray foam underbelly
- installed Air Source Heat Pump

And here is the result of the Blower Door Test taken after the air-sealing and insulation work was completed. The results show a CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) of 2183, a reduction of 1416 CFM, or 39%. This represents a great improvement in comfort, energy efficiency, and cost savings.
